Singapore, 16 April 2026 — Singapore-based digital solutions company Vertis has been named a finalist at the Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards 2026, recognised under the Innovation of the Year – Productivity category for its work on the Vertis Healthcare Marketplace.
The recognition highlights Vertis’ efforts in building digital infrastructure that improves operational efficiency across the eldercare ecosystem while simplifying access to subsidised care products for seniors and caregivers.
Designed as a national-scale care marketplace platform, the Vertis Healthcare Marketplace streamlines complex workflows involving subsidy eligibility, caregiver coordination, supplier fulfilment, and administrative processing into a unified digital experience.
To date, the platform has processed over 39,000 orders and more than S$45 million in transaction value, supporting thousands of seniors and caregivers through a scalable and integrated care ecosystem.
The finalists presentation and awards ceremony took place as part of the World Ageing Festival 2026, bringing together organisations from across the region working to address the challenges and opportunities presented by ageing populations.
“Being recognised as a finalist alongside many organisations doing meaningful work in the ageing space is something we’re very proud of,” said Birendra Balakrishnan, Co-founder of Vertis. “The conversations and ideas shared throughout the event reinforced the importance of building systems that make care more accessible, scalable, and sustainable for the future.”
The Vertis team attended the awards ceremony and festival sessions across the week, engaging with healthcare operators, innovators, and care providers from across Asia Pacific.
The company shared that the experience has further strengthened its commitment to developing digital platforms that support ageing societies through better operational design and accessible technology.
